Hi everybody,

I thank you for your advise on my situation mentioned below. As per
your advice I contacted the Congressman and INS said that they are not
expediting any F 1 visas.
Now if I wait for normal visa processing from B2 to F1 the earliest I
expect is in February 2003.
No school will allow to enter till Fall 2004.

I want to know 1) what happens when change of non immigrant status
from B2 to F1 arrives in Feb 2004. What is my status from Feb 2004 to
Fall 2004 when I can actually enroll.

2) Moreover my I-94 expires on Jan 2004. Where do you apply to extend
I-94?

The 7 replies over shadow my request for information.

Can anybody help me know 1)when I should apply to extend I-94 that
expires in Jan 2004.

2)Where do you apply for extension of I-94? At Nebraska if you are
staying in mid east.

3) Am I out of status if my visa is approved in Feb 2004 and can not
start school till Fall 2004.

It is not true that you can attend school on B2 visa. Watch out you
will be refused change of status on vilationg law meaning attending
school.
