Default B1

Hi - I am trying to get my mom over here - ideally for good, but a
tourist visa for an initial visit is fine. What is the quickest path
to get her here (from India) - I am a citizen and also, what is the
best path to get her over here for good (e.g permanent resident). I
understand since she has her daughter here it is easier, but I want to
make sure she can visit soon.

Could applying for a tourist visa (which I understand are often
rejected) make the application to immigrate more difficult? And if I
do apply for a tourist visa, should I do an invitation letter and the
proof of financial responsibility?

My mom owns a house and has 3 other kids still in India.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
