Default Automated EClient File Status check

Hey All,

Just wanted to share this with you. I applied to Buffalo last year and now
I'm starting to check my file status just for fun, but being a lazy guy that
I am and also a programmer always makes you try to simplify things. So
because I'm too lazy to type all the necessary things to get the status a
modified a page so that it does it every time automatically. It's very
simple and I'm sure some of you already did this. Here it is.

1. Download the file from : http://www.geocities.com/dimon237/FileStatus.zip
2. Unzip the file
3. Edit HTML file in Notepad or some other text editor
4. Change the following in the file:
YOUR_FILE_NUMBER -> replace with your file number (ie B.......)
YOUR_LAST_NAME -> replace with spelling of your last name that
works for logging into eclient
YOUR_DOB_YYYY-MM-DD -> replace with your date of birth in this
format (1975-02-25)
COUNTRY_OF_BIRTH_NUMBER -> replace with the number beside country
name found here:
http://www.geocities.com/dimon237
YOUR_COUNTRY_OF_BIRTH -> with your country of Birth spelled exactly
the way it is spelled here:
http://www.geocities.com/dimon237

And that's it. Just make sure when you enter this information you don't
remove any quotes or anything else from the file, just things above. Also
make sure that information that you enter actually works normally. This
works for me so if it does not work for you make sure you follow everything.

Take care

Also, most importantly, once all the changes are made, you just keep the
HTML file and when you need to check the status open it in Internet
Explorer. It may take a second or two to connect but don't click anything,
it will press all submit button on its own.

Hello Emil,

Thank you for your html file. Could you please post how to modify it in
order to input Client # instead of File number?

Regards,
