Default Austria

I am going to Austria in November and will go to Salzburg for a few
days at the same time I will be staying with some people in Kirchdorf.
Just wondered about staying at a quaint hotel in Salzburg for a day
or two and what I should visit when I am there. Thank you. Donald

Hotel Wolf would be a good choice. There are many in Salzburg - just search
the Internet and pick something that looks like what you want.

Visit St. Michael's cemetery - magical, as well as the all the usual sights.
Hallein, nearby has a very interesting salt mine tour. I could never stomach
the thought of a Sound of Music bus tour. It is a great town to just wander
around in.

Have fun, Salzburg is one of my 3 favourite places in Europe - 3 trips and
counting
