Default Australian Police Check processing time

I am just applying for the permanent visa part of of my spouse visa. As
part of this I need to get an Aussie police check done. I applied for
this 5 weeks ago now and have not yet had it back. Does anyone know
current Australian Police check processing times?

Many thanks

Generally about 3 to 4 weeks ... in my experience anyway.

Best regards.

Hi!

Alan is right, it usually takes about 30 days.

Mine took 2 months because the PCC from AFP was lost in the mail.
Otherwise, it would have taken less than 3 weeks if the first PPC
had arrived.

If you don't receive any reply by week 6, I suggest you send them a nice
email at . They were very helpful when I emailed them.

CHEERS!
