Default ASPC email inquiry response time?

Just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes ASPC to respond to an
email inquiry. Is it any faster if you quoted your file number so they
know you have applied.

I just emailed them yesterday I think as I'm not sure if my police
checks have arrived (discussed this on another thread). I'm hoping they
can give me a yes or no answer.

Also I know they just changed over to the web inquiry form instead of
emails. I'm wondering if I should request the information again on the
web in case they didn't get my email. I haven't yet received
acknowledgement from them about this, but I know it could be because the
system is catching up after it was down.

Any ideas on how long for a response, and should I request it again? I
would hate to annoy anyone by asking twice.

Hi Haley,

I sent an email to ASPC asking if our PPC's arrived and got this answer
the next day ....

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail about your visa application under
Australias
General Skilled Migration program.

Please note that due to the large number of applications and loose
documents currently received by this office, we are unable to
acknowledge
loose items of mail sent to this office.

You should ensure your file reference number or name and date of birth
are
clearly printed with any mail sent to this office.

Your case officer will contact you if any further documents are required
to
process your application.

If you wish to seek further confirmation of receipt of your documents,
you
may wish to contact your postal service provider.

Kind regards,

Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre.

***

cheers,
Marina
