Has anybody applied for a 457 Long Stay temporary visa online? From 2004
I understand that if you are being sponsered by an Australian company
that you can now only apply either in Australia or online. Not to the
overseas mission where you are living (London).

I am waiting for the Australian company to forward on the details of the
Nomination approval that they received on Dec 23 2003. However everybody
has gone on Christmas/summer hols until Jan 2, so I will have to apply
online in the new year.



I had got all my supporting documents togethor, but have some questions
regarding the online procedures.



Do you have to electronically attach birth certificates, marriage
certifcates, references to the application?

What happens regarding medicals/xrays?

Do you have to send your passport off?

Had I been applying to London using paper form 1066 for this visa, the
documentation inplied that I would have to send my passport with my
application.



Can anyone help?
