Default AOS interview today

My wife and I had her AOS interview in Omaha today and she was given her
temporary stamp in her passport pending her conditional green card issue.
Within 90 days prior to our second anniversary she has to file an I-751. We
went to the interview "loaded for bear" but all that documentation that we
brought with us was unecessary. It's too bad the government uses forms in
a "one size fits all" mentality.

Anyway, thanks to all who helped. For those who just engaged in bashing,
well, what can I say?

Congrats to you & your wife on your successful interview. Nice to know
that The Omaha office isnt too bad to deal with, I have close friends
waiting to do their AOS in Omaha right now so will be nice to tell them
you didnt have any problems. Of course its early days for them yet so it
might be some time before they get an interview date. How long did you
have to wait for your interview after filing your application?

Congratulations on the interview outcome.

So there's no confusion, you will not file I-751 relative to your
wedding anniversary. It's due in the 90 days before her second
anniversary as a Permanent Resident (date on the I-551 stamp, if that's
what she got). This date willb e recorded on her green card as 'resident
since' and you'll notice that the card has an expiration date--that is
your target.
