Default AOS confusion

Im a bit confused about the Discretionary Assurance of Support.
I have
read that the minimum annual income for the required assurance of
support is $31,755. This may be a stupid question but could someone
tell me if that is also the case with the disretionary assurance of
support as i recently read this somewhere
"Acceptance of a
discretionary AoS generally requires that the assurer has not been in
recent receipt of social security benefits and has an income above the
eligibility rate for the Australian Government's Health Care Card
(HCC)."
Anyone have any idea what the income level for that is?
I
really am confused about this.
Thanks.

Thanks Ulujain but im still a bit confused as to exactly what the
minimum annual income amount for the discretionary assurance of support
is.
Anybody know for sure?
My mum has an annual income of around $24,000
would that be an acceptable level of income if we used her as assurer
for my fiance's prospective spouse visa application?
Somebody please
shed some light on this.

Do not know the exact amount right now. But the income guidelines are
set by "Centrelink" and you will need to check with them if this amount
is sufficient. BTW, what is listed on the AOS form may not be the
correct amount as it can be revised by Centrelink before your
application is assessed!!

I believe the URL for checkig this amount is
on the AOS form.

Hope this helped.

Hi,

Are you including your AOS in your application i.e are you front-
loading?? Because you'll find lots of threads on here saying that you
should only do an AOS if it's requested because it's quite unusual
from London. I'll do any search and see if I can come up with anything
for you :)
