Hi,
Did anyone who applied in Jan/feb 2002 received their passport request
till date. Please post your timeline. I would also like to know that
what was their e-client status at the time of Passport request.

My e-client is showing "decision made" from last one and a half months
but not received any letter till date. On this user forum people who
are waiting for their passport request are mainly april/may/june 2002.

Anyone with the above details please post your timeline...and e-client
status

We applied in Feb 2002, did medicals in Nov. But the e status is still
in progress. yes, a lot of postinngs here come from months after Feb
2002; how about cases about Jan/Feb 2002?

hi, goodgal,

We have almost same timeline, the difference is only after
medical check. In the early Dec 2003, my online status changed to
Decision Made, after 10 days I got the letter of requiring the updated
forms from Buffalo rather than the passport request. I sent the new
forms after 2 days, and got nothing since then.
I was wondering if your
online status shows your medical results have been received.

Hi,
This is the third time we changed our address since we applied. The
only difference is that the e-client showed both the change of address
and status changed to "Decision made" on the same day. So, there is a
possibility that they might have made a decision on our case earlier
and sent it to the old address.

Earlier in our house changes, we did not receive all our mails even
though we did have the mail forwarding facility. It was only that our
friend came to stay in that old house who sent few of the letters
those were dropped at his mail address instead of forwarding by the
post office.

This time what is the probability that all the mail will be forwarded
to our new address. Like earlier if any letter is sent to our old
address now there is no chance that we will receive it. We were at the
east end of USA and now we are at the West end of USA.

So with that fear in mind and that e-client changed to decision made
from last one and a half month without any news from the CIC...made to
think of another possiblity that the mail could be lost.

This also came to my notice when i read the post of Samanta whose
passport request mail was lost. Upon approaching the embassy passport
officer gave her the copy of the letter. But we have applied through
Buffalo. I dont know if they will entertain or reply any such query.

As of now e-client is showing the latest address.. I dont know if i
can do something now... besides waiting.. for few another days....more
suggestions excepted

We applied in mid January 2002, got AOR in April-May 2002. Request for
more docs+medicals+interview waiver in April 2003. Medicals in August
2003. Got a call from Buffalo office for some questions in Nov 2003.
Passport request letter followed a week later. Got passport stamped
through mail early Dec 2003...My e-client status still shows "Decision
Made. Some one will be contacting you shortly..."

Hi firefire,
We did receive update form requesting to give the details of the
residence history since we applied for canadian immigration. It also
said to give the detail of the work history. This is what you received
or some other update forms. Please let me know what update did they
ask you.

We were requested to provide detailed past residence history and
experience, as well the new forms (M0008 General and Schedual 1, M5406).


When the online changed to DM, there was no such words" medical
results have been received".
What about yours?

I had exactly the same situation,, my status is DM but
not mentioning about my medicals. And I was requested to fill the same
form (residency) again recently.

Hi,
How long did you for passport request after the e-client showed
decision made. Around end nov eveyone who got decision made got their
passport request after a week or 10 days. That is why I am worried why
did my passport reqest come after 10 or 20 or even 30 days its more
than 45 days now..
