There are some that don't pass first time, mainly because they didn't
provide enough evidence.

Can be refused for being a Man City fan on mental health grounds

Lots of peeps on here had issues with tra, try doing a search, or maybe
someone with some knowledge will answer

Hi yes we failed TRA first time due to lack of info, you can never
provide enough info for them have to treat the TRA assesors like they no
nothing about your trade.

We did the application ourselves and when we had the first refusal we
nearly gave up, but when i read on the forums that it is common to fail
we decided to try again, so glad we did as passed second time, and are
at the stage of medicals so hopefully not too long for the visa.

Have you sent of your TRA or are you about to.
Whatever your situation hope it all works out good for you.

Thats why it sometimes pays to use an agent, costs more but if it goes
through their internal checks it should go through tra's. Before you try
again why not have a word with an agent they would help you quite a bit.
That is of course presuming you havent used one already, but I would be
supprised if you got turned down and was using one.

depends on who your agent is....we used an agent and our tra has been
refused!!! terminated contract with the agent, and have filed a
complaint against them to MARA. have asked to refund all payments
including the tra fee.

now we are with the second agent...hope to pass it this time...

We also failed our TRA the first time as we did not supply enough
information, got an agent and they have checked it (with a lot of extra
info!) and said it looks fine, so it has been sent off again-fingers
crossed it will be ok this time!!

When we did our application the 2nd time we did it by ourselves again
and all was fine, so it goes to show it can be done either way.

we were really lucky and passed 1st time, doing it on our own, but
purely because we listened and followed advice given to us on here, we
were told you can never include too much info or explain it too simply
for the tra...ours was over 120 pages long in all, 60 pages of that was
the discriptions of work practice, tools/machines/equipment, employment
experience/duties covered etc...
so include everything and then some more!!!
Good luck, Kat xxx
