Any tips for holiday in Moraira, Costa Blanca, Spain ?
Hi All,
I would be grateful for any holiday tips for fun things to see and do
in and around Moraira. Our party includes a three-year-old and a
five-year-old, and we will have a car. Also any suggestions for good
places to eat... Any suggestions?
Cheers, SimonA

Go have a chat with Albert Speer's son. Assuming he is still alive and
still lives where he used too... (Development called Cap Blanc, I
believe.)
Otherwise there is/was the PePe LaSal (spelling?) supermarket around the
corner.
I really loved the fish auction at Calpe, at the end of the day, run in
the local dialect though. They ran it as some sort of a Dutch auction.
You occasionally would end up buying a decent assortment of fresh fish if
you would dare getting involved with a bid.

Interesting.. we rented a little house off the guy who runs the
supermarket there, this was 20 years ago mind you. There's a bend in
the road and a small beach-could it be the same place?

Ah, Calpe and the fish market! That brings back memories. Too much
concrete nowadays.

Twenty years? I guess last time I was there must have been in 1982, so 22
years...
Although my connection with the place was there until perhaps ten years
ago.
