Any application accepted by DIMA around 30 June?

Hi All,

I wonder if any of you (sending application around 30 June 2006) have
received acknowledgement from DIMA?

Mine was arrived at DIMA on 30 June. I haven't got any acknowledgement,
and my credit card hasn't yet been billed. Is DIMA being overwhelmed by
the new applications? Or, is it a bad sign for my application?

Should I contact DIMA? via email or telephone.......

Please advise.

Quite a few of us that lodged beginning of July have just had
acknowledgements last week so perhaps yours will be through soon.

Mine was arrived at DIMA on 29 June. And I got my File Number on 29
July.
So I guest it will by very soon ,It's coming to you.

Hi,

I phoned DIMA on Thursday morning as I sent my application on the 29th
June and arrived at DIMA on the 3rd July. I was like you still no
confimation or money taken and was starting to get concerned as it says
7 days on their website.

They told me its a very busy period at the moment and they were only
dealing with applications received on the 27/28th June on that day I
rang so I would imagine you should received something within the next
day or two, hopefully I will hear by the end of the week.

Let me know how you get on.

Hi,

Ours was received 29th June, credit card charged same day!!!!! And we
received acknowledgement letter 27th July.
