Hi,

My family will soon be relocating to Orlando, Florida and ahead of our visit we need to setup housing in an area close to where we will be working (Maitland) but also in the catchment area of a good elementary and middle school in a safe, family oriented neighborhood. We are going into this with no knowledge of the areas so appreciate any advice on neighborhoods/schools.

Ideally we are looking for a family oriented area with houses no more than 10 years old and in the catchment area of the aforementioned schools. We'd like no more than a 20-30 minute peak time commute to Maitland. Also we'd like to be in a safe area with restaurants, shops and things to do in close proximity. We are looking at a rent of up to $1800 per month for a 3-4 bedroom house - preferably with pool.

If anyone knows this or the surrounding areas/schools well and could offer advice we'd be most grateful.
