Hi all,
was hoping someone can answer this.
I Have 120 for general skilled migration visa, come sept 1st, as new changes
come in then and i'll get the 5 extra points i need from my top ielts score.
Question is this... I've worked as a medical scientist for 3 of last 4 years,
but i've just stopped and am working on setting up my buisness over here, i'm
waiting to sit aims exam and have just realised because it takes them 10
weeks sometimes to come back with your result it might be nov/ dec before i
can apply, does this affect my recent work experience, i cant figure out
whether in the new sept general skilled migration, you must have worked 12
out of last 24 or is it 12 out of last 18- in that case i'm in trouble??

Hi Milly,

>From 1 September it's 12 months out of 24 months for recent work
experience, and 3 years out of the last 4 to get the 10 specific work
experience points.
