Any Advice??

Hey all I'm a total newbie! my family are discussing moving to oz they
have been for a while but we dont have a clue how to start the process
whats the best way to do it and about visa both parents over 50 and
brother has downs syndrome what should we do? cheers for any advice xx

Katrinamarie,

Is it your parents who will be the main applicants, or are you planning
to apply for the visa and want your parents to go too?

If it's your parents who want to apply, as they are over 45 years they
may have to be sponsored by an employer.

First stop is the DIMA site: http://www.immi.gov.au/

Plenty of info there. I did the entire process myself, no agent. I just
went by the info I gathered from the site. Btw, I applied in 01/06 and
got my PR on 02/11/06.

Browse http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm and use the very helpful
walkthroughs to select what type of visa and immigration you are
looking for.
