Only if it is a full time (at least 37.5 hours per week) job. It is highly
unlikely that you are working as TA full time (if you would than you
wouldn't have time for study), so it won't count, sorry.

Remember that is has to be a full year of continuous, full time (or full
time equivalent) paid employment. For example if you work 20 hours per week
as TA then you need 2 full years of such part time and continuous employment
to accumulate required minimum 12 months of skilled work experience.

Teaching assistant is considered skilled occupation (noc code 4122 )
but most likely if it is half time it will counted as equivalent
to around 6 months full time.
