TO/Andrew/James/All experts-2001 appl status

I applied for Canadian PR 2001 November Then I got my AOR 2002 January.
After one year later January 2002 I got letter from them about I will
have interview so File will transfer to LA also they will send me
Interview date.

Again in May 2003 instead interview date letter, I
got new letter on letter they want me to send information to them about
current status, I have filled out form send them through my lawyer till
now I havenâ€™t got anything things from them it is almost more than 2
years since I applied AOR. I have talked to lawyer that he is saying
that Canadian authority doing my background checks.
I also worried that
whether my lawyer sends my last update information on time or not.

If
they do then I how know? How I know my file status. Since I read this
site that most of people applied 2002 or 2001 at least got interview
waiver letter or medical done but my case seems like just to get
medical will takes another year. Please let me know I need to do?
Online status still says In process. I applied through buffalo, New
York. I am Nepali citizen.

You should ask your lawyer (providing that she or he is in Canada) to obtain
your CAIPS file printout and to show it to you and explain what's in it.
