Alan, dont know if you seen any of my posts. We applied and was accepted
by TRA,then lodged our application for Skilled Australian Sponsered , at
Adelaide in November 13th 2002,had medicals and police clearences , in
Feb 2003 and sent to Adelaide for March 5th 2003,as they asked. We still
havent heard back and were getting worried we might have to re-medical
as there is only a month and a half till they run out.We have[so has our
Migration Agent] emailed and rung Adelaide ,and all they will tell us is
when our Case Officer is ready they will get in touch. Also our Sponser
and Assurer [my Uncle have not been asked to put up bond yet].Should we
be worried or do you have to re-medical sometimes, due to their workload
at present.Look forward to your reply.Cheers.

In an effort to be professional and to not antagonise I wouldn't want to
tread on the toes of your migration agent to be honest with you ... I
think you should press him/her for some further input, though in
fairness there may well not be a lot that he/she can do.

I would only say here that it strikes me as unusual for no case officer
to be assigned to an application that was lodged 13+ months ago ...

Good luck and best wishes for visa grant early in 2004.
