Agents and TRA's

Does andyone know of or have used any agents out there that will check
a TRA application before it is submitted?
I'm pretty much ready to submit apart from a couple of ref's to be
signed and
getting all the stuff certified. For peace of mind I would like an agent
to give
it the once over to see if there are any mistakes or shortfalls.
I have heard of one company that does this but I would love to hear any
recommendations or experience you guys may have.

If you're in Scotland (Scottyboy?), you could try Darren Chatt at Visa-
Go Emigration.

The only problem I can see, and maybe its just my suspicious nature but
if you ask an agent to give it the once over, why would they??? it would
be in there best interests to say no it wont pass but if you sign up
like the rest of us we will make sure it is water tight before we submit
it. If you can fill it in your self and then ask an agent to check it
why the hell didnt the rest of us think about that we could have saved a
couple of thousand.....

There's nothing wrong with asking the question though, so go for it -
the worst that can happen is they say 'no - sorry mate, we don't do that
sort of thing'. You should expect there to be a fee for the agents time
though - all professionals tend to have an hourly rate. Just ask when
you phone them. For the sake of �?£50 or so, it may be the diffence
between passing and failing - sounds like an investment to me.

There are bound to be some registered agents down your way - phone a few
and see what response you get. You never know.

Phew. You just got in there before me.
I have found one that does it.
It costs around �?£200 and if I use their service
I'll be sure to see what they will do for me before I pay up.
I don't think a simple "will pass" or "won't pass" is worth the cash.
Saying that I dont expect them to re-write it for me either.
I think I will give them a whirl, as you say it could be a good
inverstment

�?£200 sounds a lot to me - too much in fact. Shop around.

I don't think that �?£200 is too much if you want them to do a thorough
checking job. Infact, I think it's fairly cheap considering how much
most agents charge for the TRA stage normally. If you use an agent you
still have to do all the evidence gathering and form filling your self
anyway, what you're paying for is their advise and for them to make sure
it's water tight - which is, in effect what you want them to do.
