After I-485....

I've filed I-485 for my wife and had her finger printed 3 months ago. We
haven't heard anything about our application, so decided to check the
status. Looking at the letter & receipt for I-485, it states that current
processing time is 12 months, and should not call them until the processing
time has passed.

Is 12 months normal processing time for I-485 in Texas?

Hi,

I don't know about Texas specifically, but it seems fair enough compared
to Phoenix where I am, which is 27 months, and New York which someone
else on here says is 31 months. Bakersfield, California is running
about 6 months, and Fargo, North Dakota is about 7 to 9 months. So
sounds like you fall in the middle of the spectrum. Also, it would
depend on your local office, not the whole state of Texas (I think).
