Hi all,

I am looking for Skilled independant PR for Australia and I heard the point system and the visa rules are going to change with effect from July 2011. Being an IT professional, I know I have to get my assement done by ACS but I have not done that so far .I am in the process of doing it.If I submit for ACS assessment now, I think most likely I will need to apply through the new visa rules?

Can someone give me some infomration of what changes are expected to come,if it is known?.

However I was told by a MARA agent that if I sign an agreement with them,they have the provision to block my PR application with australian immigration on previous years rule..and when my assessment is done with ACS, they can file the application with that rules..Is there any such provisions available for a MARA agent?
