I sent my N-400 form on Friday by priority mail thru the local UPS
store. I recd confirmation today and just noticed that they type N-600
UNIT instead of N-400 UNIT.

What can I do? I was thinking of overnighting a letter to N-600 unit to
please hand this off to N-400 unit? I am trying to track the letter
thru USPS but it seems like a futile task.

If you sent it through UPS, it was sent to the street address anyway.
In that case, when they open the packet at USCIS, they will see what
type of petition it is and will route it to the appropriate unit for
processing. You do not need to do anything further or notify anyone
else.
