I received a letter from ACS last Friday. I was turned down. I have been
assessed as project manager from June 98 to present with degree group B.
I was expecting group A, as my degree majored in IT. I am wondering if
my degree does not count as A because:
- it was a conversion to BSc (Hons) Business Information Systems from an
HND in Business Information Technology - run by an ICT College and
verified by Leeds Metropolitan University
or
- it was because I could not obtain transcripts for my final year (the
course has been discontinued and all records destroyed - each party
Doncaster and Leeds believing the other held records)
Can you give me any guidance as to the best way to appeal? I am so
disappointed. I will not be able to find transcripts, but could
probably ask the course coordinator to write a letter of verification
stating an IT content of over 50%.
Thanks very much
Sarah
