Default ACS AOR at DIMIA

Hi everybody!
IÃ?Â?Ã?ÂŽm turning 35 years on March 13th and after that IÃ?Â?Ã?ÂŽll only have
115 points for the 136 visa, so I need to ask God to order ACS to
send my results before March 13th (I have just received the
Acknowledgment of Receipt from ACS)
Does anybody know if I can use this ACS AOR to start the application at
DIMIA right now? I wish I could do it...
Thanks

It's for a 136, so it doesn't matter if the OP is on- or offshore.

Peter, sorry for being pedantic, but question 56 of form 47SK asks:

Is this an application for an : ONSHORE General Skilled Visa -> Goto
question 57

Question 57:

Have you APPLIED for a skills assessment from the relevant assessing
authority for your nominated occupation?

It then asks for the reference or receipt number.

Which seems to imply that for onshore 136 you only need to have applied
for skills assessment not actually received a positive assessment.
Probably not relevant to the OP as I'm guessing they're off-shore BUT
will be VERY relevant to some I think.

Cheers,
Steve.

Steve,

Subclass 136 is an offshore GSM visa, whether the applicant is in
Australia, overseas or on the moon

There is no such thing as an "onshore" 136 visa.

Just to "hop on" this thread. Can I ask whether the ACS assessment is an
additional cost that is advised to be taken prior to visa application?

You have to have your skills assessed by the relevant assessing
authority prior to applying for your visa, so if ACS if your assessing
authority, then yes it is an additional cost prior to visa application.
