Let's just forget about this, we have better things in live than waste our
time with people who not always agree with eachother. I know who I am and
what I can do I am sure Andrew knows who he is too. The fact that I am
normally a friendly guy could have been clouded when I called him a nazi..
at that time he had reached a limit... looking back (after a good night of
sleep) I shouldn't have called him that.

He indeed didn't go into the things I wrote and really made sense, instead
of that he just answered back so he cut put his 'label' on me. The fact that
English isn't my primairy language doesn't mean I can't speak it... I'm just
better @ speaking it than writing it (which isn't that strange since Dutch
is a completelly different structure than English)

Once again... feedback == reaction with me. I have my treshold of keeping my
calm.... beyond that you just piss me off (in various stages I might add)

If Andrew would have read inbetween the lines he could have known that
immigrants who are looking for jobs get frustrated, and to not loose their
own sanity they have to blaim something or someone... cause @ their home
country they probably had a good job and felt apprieciated. Where in the
country where they moved too they where first driven to the point of
insanity by the INS (CBIS) or whatever. (like you can read in this newsgroup
more than you actually would like too)

I saw Andrew has a family with a very lovely kid, he sure has something to
be proud off since I don't have any kids of my own. (which is also related
to work and income since you don't make kids because they are cute... but
you want to give them a stable future without any worries)

So let's forget about it and help people who are trying to get there K1
Visa. Let's hope for a better economie for them.

Friendly regards,

Patrick / Vampier

He shoulda sucked up more! :-)

Just kidding. He emailed me instead (otherwise I wouldn't have seen it).
Even bothered to register with my MAPS system of spam removal. I'm
impressed. I responded to him privately.

Actually I initially thought of him as a rational and intelligent guy
but his violent reactions toward me evoked equally violent reactions
from me (under the "he started it" theorem! :-) ). I wouldn't mind
discussing issues with him civilly if he would want to. Hey I even have
compassion for him as I know some of what he is going through being a
tech guy myself and having a few months of unemployment myself. I'd even
venture to help him if I saw an opportunity that he might be good for
(we all need to help each other in the tech duldrome). It's up to him
how he chooses to respond. But I will not stand for people calling me
names that I do not deserve and will respond in kind.

(Oh and I see you bothered to capitalize the "F" in my name and I
appreciate that but can we at least spell it correctly! :-) )

(Perhaps it was just a typo... Fixed!)

Sorry those S and D are really close together... ;-)

I replied to your e-mail... I am an intelligent and sane person.. altough I
sometimes put up an attitude if I feel attacked.

Being a techy has always been easy for me, cause I had word to mouth in
Holland. I even was almost begged by some companies to come and work for
them. Because I didn't need the money back then I stayed loyal to the
company where I worked... litle did I know that the company would go
bankrupt 3 months later (the mother company pulled the plug) I worked for my
enjoyment and the money was just a plus (didn't even notice I didn't get
that promised $150 pay increasement after I got some degree)

Now I come here where you have to have social skills next to tech skills...
also almost the skills to pressent yourself like a 'product' with some sort
of a language barrier and stuttering it doesn't always work out the way I
want... but who cares.. if you are turned with some shitty excuse you really
don't think twice about working there again.

And the shortlived e-mail conversation already ended... it seems mr Andrew
will never accept a world other than his own world neither an opinion other
than his own. With an attitude like that you never will be able to enjoy
other cultures nor their diversity, and that's what this whole newsgroup is
about isn't it? Finding love in a different culture and bringing people
together... wonderfull thought... seldom lived up to it.

Too bad :-(

De****witia thinks he knows everything and he is always right. Ignore the
twat.

Its very hard for anyone to start again in a new country, even if English is
their First language. Stick at it. If you are good...you will get there!

Back when I actually used to torment myself by talking the ADF, I called
him Andrew DeFuhrer. That was one of my favorites.

Yes. We had some terrible rows. He ended up calling me clueless and
too stupid to use the internet. I was constantly correcting his
spelling and grammar. It was all very sordid and nasty. It really
wasn't good for my complection so I had to swear it off, sort of like
refined sugar.
