I know this is of no help to you whatsoever but what is an "emmigrate show"?

I wouldn't bother going to a show to find out what you need to do...just go to the Canadian Immigration website. They have a very good Frequently Asked Questions section written in plain English (not confusing legalese) where you can find out what you need in order to qualify to go to Canada. They also have a qualifying quiz that will let you know if you have the skills they're looking for.

The quiz isn't an actual guarantee of getting in to Canada but is a useful tool.
