Can a Canadian citizen sponsor parents while working in the US on a TN1 visa ?
Hello there,
I'm a naturalised Canadian citizen. I recently got an offer to work
for a company in the US on a TN1 visa. However I also want to sponsor
my parents for immigration. As I understand the sponsor needs to be
residing in Canada at the time of sponsoring his/her relatives. Of
course I meet the LICO limits.
How can I sponsor my parents and also take up the job offer in the US?
Would it work if I bought an apartment in Canada and paid taxes in
both the US and Canada?
Please advise, any help is appreatiated.
Regards,
-G
