For those interested in the green card. I filed for my first E3 in July
2005, and a second concurrent E3 was filed and approved in August 2006.
I filed for a green card in June 2006 and it was approved this week.
The USCIS never challenged me as to dual intent status - so it is
definitely possible to use the E3 as the path to a green card. Good luck
