I am a brazilian citizen working in the US with an H1 visa. The Visa
stamp on my passport has expired and my company has renewed it although
I have not yet obtained a new visa stamp.

Now I need to travel to Italy but to be able to come back to the US I
will need to get my Visa renewed there. My question is; Will the US
consulate in Rome (or anywhere in Italy) let me apply for the Visa
there even though I am not an Italian and have no residence there ?
