You can Immigrate in an average of eight months through the economic stream of Nova Scotia Nominee Program you can see it on my site at www.cvimmigration.com or go to www.cic.gc.ca then click on the link To Immigrate left side. Then Provincial Nominee then Nova Scotia then Economic Stream.
It costs but if time is of an essence it seriously has benifits.
If you email me privately I'll forward you the FAQ of the program. The last time I wrote about this I got interviewed three times by CBC radio so did the Provincial Immigration Minister.
You also need to look at www.mls.ca to see the real cost of housing in the Province that varies from place to place.
