Hello all

First I would like to thank all the experts for taking time to read
this message. I am an experienced software professional 8 Years US
Experience/Indian National and in the process of applying for
canadian immigration under independent skills category. I have an
employer who is willing to work with me in either of the cases (
Temporary work visa or PR ). I am a little cautious and taking a step
by step approach by consulting all the experts out here as I do not
want to end up without a PR when I land in canada on Temp visa ( After
being in US for 9 years both on F-1 and H-1 my wife not able to work
for last 5 years, being laid off once disrupted my Green card process
and I am now going back to India )

Iam wondering if I am offered employment from a canadian employer and
the job offer is authorized by HRDC when I apply for the work visa in
Canadian Embassy in Delhi India will i have to appear at the consulate
with my family?

will my wife and kid also get the visa to enter canada if so what visa
is issued to them? Are there any chances of them getting rejected at
the canadian embassy for the visa to accompany me?

I understand that my wife can work in canada as Iam entering canada on
a temp work visa to fill a position that is listed in NOC , how easy
it is for her to get a work permit ?

can i put my kid in the school or are they any restrictions?

If my contract with the employer is for 24 months will i get the work
permit/visa for 24 months or 12 months after which I will have to
extend the visa?

How easy is it to change employers while on work permit ?

what is the best path to canadian PR .. landing on a temp visa and
applying to buffalo or staying back in india till we get the PR ?

Does having an arranged offer of employment expedite the processing
time in any way ? if so by how many months /days .. any experience at
all ?

If i File under PNP program how long will it take to get the PR i know
the time is reduced significantly but any concrete number ? again
under PNP program does it matter where I apply Buffallo or Delhi ? (
Applying at Buffallo considering iam on temp visa in canada )
