Their daughter is only 2 years old. Part of me thinks perhaps at
that age, maybe she IS better off with the mother...if the mother has
extended family and relatives around at home that will help raise the
baby. I think a family home environment is better than day care. I
don't think the father is a wimp for not insisting the baby stay with
him. Hopefully the mother won't be banned long-term, and they can
get them both back in the country by the time the daughter starts
school.
