The other jaded view
might be that they actually did marry for a green card and that the mom
wants to have her child with her.
I wonder what the living standards of
panama are actually like? Maybe it is not that bad either?
The other
thing that may be happening is that the are trying to use the child as
leverage to keep her mom in the country..
