The reason for sticking with airline size carry-on luggage is that the
aisles on the EuroStar trains are not any wider than the aisles in the
economy section of most airlines. Bags any wider just don't fit. When
people get on at the wrong end of the car and try to make their way to
the other end, it becomes a major traffic jam.
