Default 2 yrs vs 1+1 yr in two related course in skilled migration

I am doing my masters in IT in a university in sydney. Usually ACS
gives the graduate 60 points if the applicant has a previous 4 yrs
degree in IT-related major. Simply if one has 4 yrs IT-related
bachelors and 1yr Masters in IT related subject, s/he is able to get
60 points. In my case I dont find any problem with that.

My question is regarding two rules found in general skilled migration
booklet (Book 6, 1119.pdf). In Basic requirements it is mentioned that
2 yrs study is must and "if this study is undertaken at more than one
Australian educational institution, the primary application was
awarded an Australian degree, diploma and trade qualification before
commencing study at another Australian educational institution." So in
my case, after completion of my masters in IT if I do another 1 yr
full time course in another IT/networking/web/programming related
masters, I am able to meet the basic requirements.

BUT in points test, under Points for Australian qualifications it is
mentioned the applicant is entitled to get 5 points if s/he "have
studied full time in Australia for a total of 2yrs (2 academic yrs)
towards the awards of A DEGREE, DIMPLOMA AND TRADE QUALIFICATION."

My question is here its is clearly mentioned A DEGREE, so if I
complete two masters in Australia after study two yrs full time , wont
I be able to get that 5 points ?

Hi Manob,

As you're in Sydney I think you should get some professional advice, and
there are a number of agents here who could help. Basically ACS does not
require four years of study and it's clear to me that you haven't mastered
their guidelines...

Cheers,

Hi george,
I am not worried about ACS rules. I am over qualified in terms of ACS
requirments.

My question is regarding two rules found in general skilled migration

I be able to get that 5 points ?
