Default 2 or 4 yrs for citizenship??

Whats happening with the new legislation that will be introduced ( from
what i can remember) in July this year?

We are planning to move over end of June beginning july and was
wondering if it would affect us. Our visa grant was on 10 Jan. if it
were to change say july and we for some reason went later, lets say
August would we then be on the 4 year rules.

I hope you guys know what i`m trying to ask here

It's not completely clear yet, but it's looking like it will be down to
whether you validate before or after the new rules come in. The
Citizenship website says not before July, so it could still happen after
that. We'll just have to wait and see it seems, and don't count on
anything for sure until then!

It hasn't gone through yet, but I can assure you, when it does it will

Don't worry man.
Search about it in DIMA site, the 4year rule is not passed over yet. If
it passes, will be effective after Automn 2007. It means only
applications which are GRANTER VISA after Automn 2007 will be under
4year situtaion.
