Default 136 papers lodged..but planning to claim spouse points

my husband is the primary applicant and he has lodged our
application papers (BN 136) to DIMIA.....we did not claim for spouse
points as he reached 120 points (we assumed he would be able to get
the 6 band on ietls)

if in case he did not pass 6 on ielts, and got only 5..
is it possible to claim for the spouse points even if our papers have
been acknowledged but not yet assessed..

Hi Desperate,

Depends a bit on how you filled out the form 47SK, and how long ago you
lodged the application, but in some cases you can file a skills
assessment for the spouse after application and get away with it.

Cheers,

Hi Desperate,

No, can't comment without knowing what you put in your form 47SK and I
don't think you need to discuss it with the whole world on this
newsgroup either :-(

Cheers,

Desperate,

If you need specific help from an immigation agent, should you not
become a paying client??!

Good luck, ws.

ws,

the reason why i posted here because this forum was referred by a
friend. and because this is an open forum to which i expect comments and
suggestions of those who are WILLING to share
information/clarifications.

it only happens that Mr. George replied to my queries, and was grateful
for it, and was hoping to get a few more replies. otherwise, still i
thank him.

moreover, had i have enough money to pay for an immigration agent, i
would NOT bother all the forumers to reply to my queries.
