Dear all,

I think work references are going to be a pain in the rear. Especially
considering that my division is severely short staffed and that the HR
Director will be off to Australia (the irony!) to interview prospective
candidates then. Wonder if I can backdate my reference?

p/s: I'm getting all sorts of horror reports about having to apply for
jobs at the Big 4 one year in advance. Unfortunately they're not too
friendly with internal transfers here. Sigh...

Just to be on the safe side you must ONLY send you application with
AFTER you have completed 12 months experience!

I have read on this site of people being knocked back because the
date on their application gave them less than 12 months experience,
so be safe, not sorry.... I'm no expert, I just read way too much on
this forum!

Send it AFTER the 12 months has been reached!

Dear Ali,

I know *groan*. Just that I'm overly keen on starting a new life down
under. I'm taking a month off this April though (about two weeks
unpaid). Is this still included in the 12 months criterion?
